Ask TJ: All work and no play…

Q. What with all the columns of interest you write, Im sure that youve got a staff of people, who do a lot of the research for you, since it would be impossible for you to do all the research and watch the TV shows that you report on. This being said, I wonder how many hours you do spend watching shows? How do you keep your sanity as well as keeping your family intact and happy with your presence at home. Regardless of how many hours you do spend doing the work, yours is a most enjoyable column. S.E, Boca Raton

A. Thanks. I do watch more TV than anyone should but what I do isnt work, not when you compare it to police and firemen putting thier lives on the line every day, people who put new roofs on houses, tar on highways or teach our children. My research staff is me, myself and I. I feel fortunate to still have a job in this economy, never mind having an assistant. But every now and then I need time to recharge my batteries and this is it. Ill be taking some time off but I will be back (Sorry, TomWellMissYou.)
