
MORE than 1.3 million viewers tuned in to see the first team voted off the new series of My Kitchen Rules on Wednesday night.
The episode was the most watched show of the evening, attracting 1.384 million viewers.
Mother and daughter team, Kerry and Holly Zilko from Perth, were the first to be voted off the second series of Seven’s cooking reality show after a succession of disasters in the instant restaurant phase of the competition sent them into an elimination round.
The pair were forced into a sudden death cook-off against Melbourne flatmates Kane Lillywhite and Lee-Ying Chan whose Thai chicken curry narrowly beat the Zilkos’ pork dish.
Seven’s US drama Criminal Minds also rated well on Wednesday night with 999,000 tuning in, as did Ten’s weight-loss reality series The Biggest Loser which had 947,000 viewers.
Nine’s A Farmer Wants a Wife dropped more than 100,000 viewers from the previous week, to take out 11th spot with 786,000 tuning in.
dam Hills in Gordon St Tonight on ABC1 also shed viewers this week, with an audience of 674,000 placing it in 16th position.
The chat show premiered with an audience of 889,000 a fortnight ago and last week had 802,000 viewers.
The ABC’s new comedy series Laid has maintained its audience from last week, with 478,000 tuning in.
