Shot on location in Cambodia, including many scenes in actual brothels in the notorious red light district of Phnom Penh, HOLLY is a captivating, touching and emotional experience. Patrick, an American card shark and dealer of stolen artefacts, has been ‘comfortably numb’ in Cambodia for years, when he encounters Holly, a 12-year-old Vietnamese girl, in the K11 red light village.

Dammit! We’ve missed Jack Bauer and his super duper terrorist fighting skills since 24 ended in 2010. But Kiefer Sutherland isn’t going to leave fans for dead like his Bauer character did so many of his arch enemies.
Sutherland said today on The View that the 24 movie — which producers all but promised when the FOX series ended after eight seasons — is on tap for a summer 2012 release.
A first script of the film has already been written (but was reportedly given the heave-ho by FOX).

After the final round of semifinal cuts on last season’s American Idol, I responded to some inexplicable decisions by the voters with the calm, collected headline, “America Loses Its Mind.” That hysteria proved to be all too prescient, as the season that followed brought the show to a crisis point.
But the Season Ten lineup, finalized on Thursday, provides hope that the bad times were just a one-season blip. The talent pool might be the deepest the show has ever had, especially on the men’s side, where one can make a plausible case for any of the six male finalists coming out as the eventual champion.

Jane Lynch – who plays cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in the musical TV show – encouraged the ‘Tiny Dancer’ hitmaker to make an appearance in the series before finding out he had already met with the ‘Glee’ boss.
She told ‘Access Hollywood’: “I said, ‘You should be on it!’ And he said he and Ryan just had coffee or something and they talked about that, so that would be really fun.”
Meanwhile, Matthew Morrison has admitted he “can’t wait” to see the new episodes Gwyneth Paltrow has filmed where she reprises her role as substitute teacher Holly Holliday opposite his character Will Schuester in the Fox series.
