‘Law and Order: SVU’ Welcomes Back Stephanie March and Diane Neal


Two old faces will return to “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”. Executive producer Warren Leight has revealed on Tuesday, July 5 that Stephanie March and Diane Neal are set to show up in multiple episodes of the thirteenth season of the legal drama series.

March was a regular from 2000-2003, taking the role of ADA Alexandra Cabot. She had recurring part in several seasons in the past. Neal, meanwhile, played ADA Casey Novak from 2003-2008, and recently appeared in an April episode of season 12.

Season 13 of “Law & Order: SVU” will begin filming later this month, but the premiere date has not been announced by NBC. Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino have been cast as new detectives following Christopher Meloni’s departure. Meanwhile, Mariska Hargitay will have a reduced role as her character, Detective Olivia Benson, will be promoted to Captain.
